Between the Lines: Insights from the Real Estate Bulletin A real estate elective course designed to address some of the most commonly asked questions posed by real estate brokers and to provide insight into many misunderstood positions taken by the Commission on transactional matters. In short, the primary objective of this course is to provide brokers with printed positions, conclusions, statements, resources, etc., as written by, or provided by, the NCREC staff (primarily). Quite frankly, it should come as no surprise to anyone that 1) many, and I suspect, most, brokers never read the articles in the Bulletin; 2) that newer licensed brokers do not have access to, or are unaware of where to find, such information as often found in Bulletin articles. While many of the topics found in the Bulletin articles are addressed in either the Pre- and/or Postlicensing courses, at a “young real estate age” (that is, no real estate experience for basis of understanding), even that which is taught in the Pre- and/or Post- courses has little to no context, other than “will this be on the exam”.
